7. Greeting other people by name is a proven way to be more likeable
Not only do you make another person feel good when you greet them by name, but research has shown that people feel validated when you refer to them by name throughout a conversation.
What to do: If you are bad with names, make a memory exercise out of remembering people’s names.
And don’t be afraid to ask if you happen to forget the first time, but asking too many times can actually make you less likeable.
